Reaction's story started in the heart of Pastor David Sillaman when he was 24 years old. While sitting in a church service one Sunday, he felt like God spoke to him and said, "You are going to build a church"  This would forever change his life. After running from God and the calling, Pastor Dave finally came to point of surrender. At that time he was the groups coordinator at a mega church. Reaching people far from God has proved to be the catalyst for a life mission of seeing people far from God raised to life in Christ through the local church. It was over the next 7 years that everything started to come together.

In 2010, Pastor David began the mission of launching Reaction Church which opened its doors on September 11th, 2011 with just 3 people in attendance. In just over a year, God has moved in amazing ways and has used Reaction Church to change thousands of lives in the Manassas area. Through God's favor and a relentless pursuit of a singular mission, Reaction Church has experienced over 500 professions of faith since our launch. From humble and sacrificial beginnings, God has placed his hand on Reaction Church, and we truly believe the best is yet to come.
